Oregano & Mint

They come back every year. I planted them in a rusty old wheelbarrow.
We also have sage and cilantro that survived the winter. Mmmmmm hmmm.
I love fresh herbs! I see pasta salad in our future...

  1. My mint and basil didn't last through our one day of snow and three days of freezing temperatures last month. Over here in Austin we are not use to weather like that... including the plants. I know...we're light weights.

  2. Really? That is so strange! I know basil is kind of a sissy plant, but mint is usually die hard- mine always comes back small and then tries to take over the world! Last year it came back in the garden after the winter even though it had been tilled and plowed over!
