My girl turned a year old last week- how the time has flown! I wasn't going to do much...I joked that I would wrap some of the toys she already has and let her open them, but way led to way, and we had a pizza party! It was fun- B cooked homemade pizzas, Grandma made an awesome strawberry trifle desert, and Biggie was cute as ever. I don't know where the last year went. At times it was very tough- for months I didn't get more than 3 hours of sleep in a row, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat for her. She is an absolute joy, which also happens to be her middle name. :) We are so lucky to have this little bunny in our lives! Isn't she a ham for the camera?
Aw, so glad you had a party. I was the same with LT in the sense that you think they don't really understand what's going on so why bother. But then I thought, We'll never have another chance to mark this day and it is a very special day. I can't begin to describe how much LT has brought to my life. It's astounding. I feel like everything before him was inconsequential and happened to someone else, and I only started living and truly appreciating each moment when he came along!
ReplyDeleteThose pics are so adorable! Especially the one in the hat and the gummy smile!

Very cute pictures! I'm sure the time goes by way too quickly, looks like you guys celebrated in the nicest of ways :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Portia. I know what you are saying about being a mom. It makes me want to be the best person I can be. That sounds corny, but it's true. And 1 year and 0 teeth! I keep saying...any day now! She began walking today :)She has taken steps in the past, but today she went clear across the room while my husband and I watched. Soooo cool.
