Great entry level machine for a beginner like me - no complicated computerised parts just metal that needs oiling and gears that need greasing. I left and came back and was mad that it hadn't been marked down. I laughed about it once I remembered what I dreamt about.Cassandra {Sleeping or Sewing}https://www.blogger.com/profile/12458846939826504443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-235151033520986002.post-5427607666267980032011-03-05T22:45:23.362-05:002011-03-05T22:45:23.362-05:00Thanks all! This is a great machine- yesterday I played with it a lot, used the double needle option, tried out the cams, etc. I just can't believe how nicely it stitches everything. I <3 my Singer. I'm naming her Phyllis Sue after the former owner (her name was on a label on the machine) :)A.J.A.https://www.blogger.com/profile/05989531542525210531noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-235151033520986002.post-82097476636051176382011-03-05T10:55:26.574-05:002011-03-05T10:55:26.574-05:00What a great score. My husband asked why I was buying the old one, and I promptly informed him that old is usually MUCH better when it comes to sewing machines (plus, mine is my favorite shade of green, and it came with the metal carrying case). It's served me very well, and was worth way more than I paid for it--hope yours is as good to you!Jasminehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14200118753328726970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-235151033520986002.post-52828529952966882132011-03-04T00:10:46.760-05:002011-03-04T00:10:46.760-05:00That is an awesome find!
